Je moet nog wel even wachten, maar het boek The Whuffie Factor van Tara Hunt komt er wel in het Nederlands. De uitgever A.W. Bruna gaat het boek in Nederland uitgeven.

Het boek The Whuffie Factor gaat over sociaal kapitaal. De term Whuffie is bedacht door (Wikipedia) Cory Doctorow en is als eerste genoemd in het boek Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom van Doctorow.

Whuffie
Whuffie is een sociaal kapitaal. In het boek van Doctorow gaat het zelfs zo ver dat Whuffie geld vervangt. Tara gaat niet zo ver dat het geld vervangt, maar Whuffie is wel heel belangrijk aan het worden. Als je veel Whuffie hebt opgebouwd komen de financiele vergoedingen als vanzelf.
